Academic Revival of Indigenous Studies and Education (A.R.I.S.E.)

About

A.R.I.S.E. focuses on educating ourselves and others on all Indigenous cultures, histories, and current events. We invite Indigenous dancers, musicians, and tribal members to UTEP; host intriguing, cultural discussions and other events; and visit reservations.

The main misconception people tend to have about A.R.I.S.E. is that you need to be Indigenous. The fact is, you do not. We are all inclusive. We have members who are Indigenous and who are non-Indigenous, and we welcome anyone. If you are interested in joining our organization, please leave your name and email address. We will contact everyone to invite them to our very first meeting.

The top three benefits of joining A.R.I.S.E. are gaining cultural experiences, friendly support, and education.
